The following was written from a dream I had in 2007, I originally posted this piece on my SweetTalkingGuy blog for a poetry prompt: One horse powers a thousand dreams...

ONE HORSE
The Kings soldiers come in the night
kill his father, rape his mother.
'You can't make a silk purse...' they curse
as they force the pig farmers wife
one after another till dawn.

They tie the boy to a donkey
so that he has to run behind.
They ride out of the piggery,
fording the cold stream at first light.

When they are sure the boy can't read
they cut out his tongue for the dogs
and brand him with a hot iron
urinating on his fresh wound
they leave him lying there bleeding
for the camp-followers to find.

In an un-interpretable
hieroglyphic of his own hand
he scrawls his last thoughts on the wall
of the royal stable in blood:

it persists it down in this town when it pours.

before I saw her step out of the booth
she was dressed to kill done up to the nines
flashing no nickers fur coat and high heels
flesh coloured tights up to her threepennies
Is that all there is? I thought to myself
Want some business Chuck? she says spitting gum
How much do you charge love? I said for fun
Cheeky what d'yer think that yer gunner do?
I've got a son at home older than you
When she saw I was soaking wet she said

SCRIPT (For The Claremont) by Anagram Andy.

Last time I came to a comedy night at The Claremont, Colin Bell was King of The Kippax and the revolving doors were still here.
The bouncer outside handed me a leaflet that said: COMEDY NIGHT and Magician! In big letters.
And underneath that it read: Tuesday – Liverpool Empire, Wednesday – Manchester Apollo, Thursday – The Claremont!…
I said, “There’s got to be something wrong with that?… How much does it cost?”
The bouncer said, “It’s free to get in… but you might want to pay to get out!”
I gave him the leaflet back, and started to push the revolving doors open, I was half way round when I heard him shout “And, take your bike clips off!”
I had visions of Strangeways and me dropping my soap in the shower, so I carried on walking all the way round, and back out into the street again. I was half way to the Bee Hive when I remembered that I’d chained my bike to the pipe outside, so I came back.
“That’s funny,” I said to the bouncer, (Scratching my head) “I’m sure I had two wheels when I parked my bike here before!”
“That’s not funny!” said the bouncer… “What’s funny is that bloke from the Magic show! He came on a pogo-stick…(Bong, bong, bong!) …and he just left on a Unicycle!" (Doing the cycle impression and whistling, Raindrops keep falling on my head!)
Anyway, just to confuse you… I’m Anagram Andy, Ian Biro’s my pen name… my real name is Parker… The magic marker!
Only joking, (Slobberchops impression) They call me Slobberchops… when I go like that! (Slobberchops impression again)
I used to write with a magic marker, but like the jokes, the ink dried up!
So, I went to the doctors the other day, to find out what was wrong with me.
I said, “Doctor, I think I’ve got a drink problem!”
He said, “Why, how much do you drink?”
I said, “About ten pints of bitter!”
He said “Don’t worry about it, ten pints a week is about average!”
I said, “But, Doctor I drink ten pints a session!”
He said, “Yeah, but how many times a week do you go out?”
I said “ About three times a day! …. Can you help me Doctor?”
“Okay,” said the Doctor, “What you need is a holiday, just lay off the beer for a bit, and drink the odd red wine!”
I was talking to that geezer at the bar before, did you see him?… with the ski mask on?… I thought I know him!… I’ve seen him on the telly!… I’m sure they said he was a Swiss banker… on Crimewatch!
So I Said to him, “What’s it like in Switzerland these days, mate?”
And he said, “It’s all down hill, mate… (doing the slalom impression with his hand!)”
So I asked him (raising my right hand up slowly) if he knew what those…
He said “If you do that in Berlin, you’ll get arrested!”
So I asked him again, I said “Do you know what those trains are called that go up mountains?” (Raising my right hand up slowly)
“No,” he said. “I don’t know what they’re called, but they are a funny colour!”
“Funicular?” I said, “Where are you living these days, mate?”
He said, (Raising his right hand up slowly) “Up Bury New Road!”
I thought, He’s goin’ back down! (doing the slalom impression)…. Some people do have, Strangeways!
Anyway, we go everywhere all the time, and we were in Switzerland ourselves a few weeks ago, and when we got to the campsite… there was a big notice, it read: (In an exaggerated German accent) ‘Welcome to the Jung Frau Campsite. You WILL enjoy yourself!’
And some bright spark had scribbled underneath with a magic marker: “But not here!”
It’s a funny place Switzerland, they speak three or four languages, it’s the same wherever you go in Europe, whatever language you speak to them in, they always answer you back in perfect English.
Like I said, we go everywhere all the time, and we were in Paris the other night, and we did the sights, up the Eiffel tower, (raising my hand up slowly) and down The Champs Elysees, (Doing the slalom impression) up the little funicular to SacreCoer, (raising my right hand up slowly) and all the way back down to Notre Dame, (Doing the slalom impression).
I said to this French bloke, I knew he was French because he was wearing a beret and a string of onions round his neck. I said “Where’s the dead centre of Paris mate?”
And he said “Pere La Chaise!, follow me…” ( Impression - do him pushing his push-bike, exaggerated, and whistling Raindrops keep falling on my head!).
“Bloody ‘ell,” I said, “if I’ve got to walk like that… I’ll need a drink!”
“He was doing the Bistrot!” ...
… and I thought I’d give my French a try, So I went in this Bistrot… and I said to the girl behind the bar “Bon Soir, Mademoiselle, Un Vin rouge sil vous plait?”
And the Turkish barmaid… answered me in perfect English, She said “Chicago, hey Mac?”
I said “No, Manchester!”
And she smiled and said “Bobby Charlton!” (Do the comb-over impression).
And I couldn’t tell if she was taking the piss out of my haircut… or what?
I got one of those Internet deals, the other day, five quid to Italy!… And the car hire thrown in for free!…   I said, “Five quid!… that’s cheaper than staying at home!    I’ll take two!”
When the tickets arrived they were for Venice… I said the only thing we’ll be driving there is a gondola!
But we went, because we’re daft like that, we’re wet behind the ears… but we like canals!… we go everywhere all the time, if we’re not here, we’re there, and if we’re not there, we’re somewhere else!
So there we were in Venice, taking in the sights, up the Rialto bridge, (Raising my right hand up slowly). And back down all those steps…(Do the Slalom impression) We went up The grand Canal, (Raising my right hand up slowly). And down all those little side canals… (Do the Slalom impression).
Eventually, I thought we better go for a drink, so I parked the gondola up…         …and we went into this bar in San Zechariah. The barman was pouring Galliano into a row of glasses on the counter.
He said to me “Pronto! Senora, Harvey Wallbanger! Capisce!”
I said “No gracie, Una vino rosso, par favore?”
And he replied, in an American accent… “Sorry, sir, we donna sella de red vine! … Try the Holts’s pub next door!… ”
I said, ”Bloody hell, I’ve come all the way from flamin’ Manchester… (Raising my hand up slowly) ‘cos they don’t sell it in The friggin’ Claremont, either!” (Doing the Slalom impression).
“Only joking! Mine’s a pint of bitter mate!… with two straws, and a cherry on top!… hold the Sambuca!”
Talking about Yorkshire… It’s not funny,,, but there’s a joke in there somewhere!
I went into that flag shop in Leeds last week, and I said to the fellow behind the bar, “Do you sell, red wine?”
And he said, in a perfect German accent, “No, ve’re a flag shop, ve sell flags!”
I said, “What about Union Jacks?”
He said, “Vwhat about ‘zem?”
I said, “What colour are they?”
He said, “Zey are red, Vite and blue!… You daft get!”
I said, “Give us a blue one!… and a glass of red wine… and a bottle of white to go!”
Anyway, I better go… ‘cos I’ve got a taxi waiting to take me to the airport… and if that bloke that chained his bike up outside still wants a lift, he better come with me… ‘cos he won’t be riding it home tonight.
I was going up that travelator at Asda the other day, (Raising my right hand up slowly). and this fellow in front of me said that he needed to buy some slip on shoes… because he couldn’t reach to tie his laces anymore!
I said, (Doing the slalom impression)‘Bloody ‘ell that’s nothing! I need slip on socks!’
He said to me “do you know what day Christmas is on?”
I said, “I think it’s a Friday!”
He said “That’s okay, as long as it’s not the thirteenth!”
We were in Ireland in September, and I broke my reading glasses in County Wicklow, and I couldn’t see to read a bloody thing, I sat there in the car, looking at the map, trying to find the cottage we had booked for the week… When a farmer pulled up in his tractor. I asked him if he knew the way to Hollywood?
He said, “You’re going the wrong way, mate! You’ll have to turn round in that field, but watch out for the Leprechaun!”
“Leprechaun? I said, “what does he look like?”
The farmer said, “You’ll recognise him… he’s got a rabbit tattooed on his forehead!”
I said “A rabbit?… Is that so he can see in the dark?”
“No!” said the farmer, “The Leprechaun’s going bald, and a rabbit looks like a hare from a distance!”
I thought, That’s a good idea! … (Scratching my head!)
Talking about tattoo’s, an anagram is a sort of word tattoo…
And two of the biggest brands of the last century were Levi’s jeans and Elvis Presley… Elvis and Levi’s are of course anagrams of each other, and if you think Elvis is dead… You should know that an anagram of, Elvis Aaron Presley is: Seen alive, sorry pal!
And that an anagram of, William Shakespeare is: I am a weakish speller!
And here’s a fishy one for you, Pere La Chaise, is Hearse Plaice.
And my pen name, Ian Biro is an anagram of Nairobi!
But the best anagram of a persons name belongs to John Marshall who used to run The Buzz Club comedy night, down the road at The Southern Hotel. He called himself Agraman the human anagram! Which of course is an anagram of anagram!!!
If you like anagrams, you might like this.
I was walking past the post office one December morning, and it was the week when everybody got their double giro and the Christmas bonus, so there were two policemen keeping everyone in line, and there was a notice above them that said, Please queue here, with an arrow pointing to the post office sign.
But some bright spark had rearranged the letters, so instead of it reading: Princess Road Post Office, it now said: (and wait for it, ‘cos this is explosive!) It said: Please queue here, to crap on pissed officers!
Last time I told that story, someone said: ‘You sound like, An angry Adam!’
Which of course is an anagram of Anagram Andy!
Finally!!! I was talking to that robot at the bar before and do you know what he said?
He said: (In a robotic voice) If you fancy our barmaids, DON’T DRIVE HOME!
Which is a good message… but then he got really boring…
He said: (In a robotic voice, again)
Did you ever see those crazy kids at night?
That cycle on the roads without a light!
The way they race along the gutter jumping grids! (Raising my right hand up slowly)
Using the double yellow peril as a track…
They’re a nightmare for a driver psycho kids…
And when they do the downhill… slalom (Do the slalom impression)
Along the broken white…
Even Moss Side drivers have a fright!
So, watch out for crazy psycho cycle kids tonight!

It’s nine twenty now, and we said eight thirty!Where the puke are you?” Wendy leaves the message on Benney’s cell phone, she’soutside the coffee shop on Market Street, and she’s pacing up and down, makingever more frantic calls to people who are just not listening. ‘We’ve got afull day ahead of us’ she thinks, ‘and Benney’s gone AWOL!’

“Oh hi, this is Wendy Naisa from News Galactic Corporation,I was hoping to speak to Doctor Curbishley, this is his personal number, isn’tit?”

“DOCTOR CURBISHLEY IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT / HE IS INA MEETING / HE IS OUT OF TOWN / HE IS…”

“Blooming Nora! the silly Burke’s got a pet robot!”. Shesays, thinking out loud, and shaking her mobile thing, then adds quite audibly,“What a jerk!”

Quickly she tries Benney’s number again, this time heanswers. “Sorry Nish!” he starts, “It’s murder and mayhem on the roads thismorning. There’s been a big crash on the Parkway, it’s absolute carnage outhere!”

“How long do you think you’re gonna be, Benney?”

“I don’t really know, Nish! The trouble is I think I’ve gota puncture, on top of everything else, I’m at the garage now, I’ll bell youback as soon as I’m done, sorry!”

Wendy shakes her phone again, and then her head violentlyfrom side to side. ‘What a waste of a morning’. She thinks, and headsback inside the coffee shop. “Give me a regular black coffee”, she tells thegirl behind the counter.

I told you they were coming

But they were only pissing on my gate

So I splash round my goldfish bowl somehow
while their in-car speakers shake my floorboards
It's like living on a fairground with hoards
of punters looking for a good-time girl
sitting on my wall in Ermin's and pearl
Yes it's okay for them to drink all day
there's not much work for their sort anyway

Who's manipulating who
I told you they were coming

Like our great-great and our great-grandfathers
in the Great War cannon fodder what for
giving some to Shiser Bill on the Somme
fifty-odd-thousand they didn't last long
Pointless as all those slaves that you once shipped
across the seas the families you ripped
apart and buried in a foriegn field
what for greed no need all that extra yeild
and this generation discarded too
the underclass we don't know what to do

HERE'S A LITTLE SOMETHING

Hi everybody, sorry I've not been around for a while. I always find it difficult to find any blogging time during the summer, and this year's been no exception. The bad news is that my schedule is about to get even heavier over the next few weeks, so don't expect to see much of me until mid October.
WRITER'S ISLAND INCEPTION
I like the sound of the word Inception, and I thought I'd write a Haiku, but when I wrote it in my head all I could hear was a rhyme, so perhaps it's a Rhymku, anyway here goes:

AMAZING SENTENCE

So I thought about the above and I came up with an amazing sentence, of course I didn't actually write it, but I kind of abridged it, slightly.

In the beginning was the word, the word was God, the word was made flesh.

FOLLOW THAT

Then I got to thinking that Inception should be in the title of my poem, so I expanded it into a Heyku which is actually spelt AQ which is a weird kind of riddle where the answer is in the question. However, the more I thought about it the more I realised that my Rhymku was already an AQ. So I decided to expand it in a different direction. I chose a NaiSaiKu, where the title is capitalised in the middle, and when I wrote it down I realised it was a palindrome too.

We’ve been in the trenches for a few days, and so Mark Stratton says it’s time to get personal! Here’s Mark’s prompt for Day #5:
Make your poetry personal. I mean, it already is, right? It’s thoughts, observations, deep, dark, personal feelings and stories dressed up in pretty words and oblique descriptions. You get it, and some others get it.
Still others see it as something else entirely, which is great, honestly. We have our own set of filters our lives go through, and this influences how we interpret things. It is part of what makes reading poetry fun and interesting for me.
Today, let’s make poetry really personal. Give poetry, as you write it, a name. Possibly a gender. And a personality. A poet I know has written (and continues to write) a series of poems based on this principle, and I shamelessly ripped it off (with permission, of course) and made a poem I called “Sasha.” Sasha is many things, all at the same time, yet all are Sasha/poetry to me.

NATASHA
I wrote mine about Natasha, I've mentioned her before in Whatever happened to the corner shop and in Surveillance. Today I asked her what she thought about poets, and she said 'they talk to themselves all day long.' So I wrote down what she said and everytime she said themselves I changed the word to Natasha. It's a bit experimental, so I hope you like it.

Nelle Lytle encourages you to keep going with your NaPoWriMo poems by writing inside-out or outside-in. She says: I watch too much HGTV, so I have learned (very well) about bringing the outdoors inside and also turning outside spaces into rooms (which is, apparently, more than putting the old sofa out on the front porch).
In our case, writing inside out (or outside in) means setting your physical or metaphorical inner bits out of doors, to be walked around and looked at from odd angles, as if they were monuments or mailboxes (as an example). Or it could be transforming your internal organs into flowers or letting a pack of four-year-old’s (human or otherwise) loose in your attic. Write a poem today that illustrates your idea of what is inside-out.

The only headache that I’ve got right now is you…

the coffee cup aroma of your breath makes me wanna puke all over you

what can I do?

The only headache that I’ve got right now is you…

Alchemy would be fine for turning water into wine

And every time that I write something new, you steal the tune

You play it on your radio, and I don’t know which way to go

It’s tough being a genius they tell me but hell what do they know?

The whole blogging poetry world seems to have gone Acrostic mad of late. Even I who knows zilch about the form, have given in and written one for a competition, (I'll post it on this blog after the winner has been announced). In the meantime I'll leave you with the only other acrostic that I can find on my bloggage - but I'll warn you now before you read it, that last time I posted it, nobody even noticed that it was an acrostic!
COMPETITION
Your challenge is to write an acrostic inspired by the word "wonder." It can be up to 250 words in length. Creativity and cleverness are important. For the prize details and more about acrostics, visit the contest page.

This is a story about a kitty
alley cat, that everyone calls smelly

she lives in a junk yard broken telly

by Mother Macs in Back Piccadilly

she needs a human to scratch her belly

and to feed her cat food set in jelly.

Of course it doesn’t have to be jelly

She likes chocolate does little miss kitty

And a lump of cheese to fill her belly

Cause it’s not her fault that she’s so smelly

It’s the junk they sling in Piccadilly

Where she sleeps in that broken old telly.

But she likes it in her cosy telly

As long as she gets to eat her jelly

There’s plenty of scraps in Piccadilly

But not the sort that would suit a Kitty

Take-Away litter and sick so smelly

Not the Carry-Out for her thin belly

Feed her don’t tease her and scratch her belly

And take a new cushion for her telly

The one she’s got now is really Smelly

And don’t forget she likes cat food jelly

I haven't posted anything for a few days because I've been busy with this new craze - The Syllable Sestina, which I first saw on Tiel Aisha Ansari's blog
She of course is brilliant at them, you only have to read her regular sestina's to find the depth and breadth of her capabilities.

COMPETITION Also, I believe that there is a competition being held by Wags Review, for anybody interested in this form. Although you'll need to hurry 'cos the deadline is March the 1st. You should Clink~the~link as they can explain it far better than I.

ADDICTIVE AS SUDOKU
The troube with the Syllable Sestina, is that it is as addictive as Sudoku. It's one of those games you just MUST play. If you do have a go and post something on your blog, please leave a comment and link on this blog as I'd be interested to read whatever you write.
FIRST ATTEMPTS
Okay, I better explain the rules as I understand them, although, you'd be safer to check out one of the links above. Here goes: Firstly the poem only contains six syllables, which are repeated in the same pattern of end words as in a regular sestina. So the sixth syllable of the first line, becomes the first syllable of the second line and so on.

SOAK IT UP

Many of the poems I write could be songs, sometimes they start out that way, because I find it easier to remember things if they have a tune. And all my poems do, each and every one of them has an internal tune that I can remember it by. I can go back to my old poems and sing each one, straight off the page. Why am I telling you all this nonsense? I really don't know, apart from by way of introduction to the following song. Song? why is it a song? Well it's a song because I wrote it for Cliff Richard, only joking, but I did write a song for Cliff once, honestly. Of course he didn't use it, why would he? Anyway, the real reason that this piece is a song is because it sings itself to me, as opposed to me singing the line to myself. It's something to do with the repetition of the catchy bit, the thing that real songwriters call the hook.

I used the line the best is yet to be, which I inserted into

the rewriting/updating of a piece I wrote a few years back.

The original poem is a stand alone piece and todays offering

is to be treated as something new, which it is, because I have

something new and fresh to say on the matter. Phew!

Boots strapped on, he's dancing down streets where puppy dogs meet and big dogs mate. He strolls the alley, where Gordon met his fate, and rats come up for air. Watching his ankles, hat over his eyes, that's not snow when pigeons fly.

MUSIC STREET
(back story)

I once wrote a stage play called Music Street, although I'm not sure if 'stage play' isn't a bit over the top, I do remember at the time I called it a Music Play. Anyway, it was an all singing all dancing production written for the stage. It was set in a Manchester street, which has long been demolished. The name of the street was New Brown Street and the first street off it on the left, if you were coming from Market Street, was called Swan Lane. In my Music Play I changed the name of New Brown Street to Music Street and Swan Lane to Swan Lake. The play was about two teenage gangs and the first half of it was set in 1969 when the area was starting to be boarded up ready for the pending demolition. The second act was set ten years later in 1979 after a new indoor shopping centre had been constructed. But you don't really need to know all this, it's just my long winded way of telling you that the ABOVE^ American Sandwich poem is based on one of the original songs from the first act.

How to write a
NaiSaiKu..

First of all I must stress that NaiSaiKu..
is a just for fun form of poetry.
It’s not meant to be taken seriously by real poets or by academics.

I started by writing a three-line poem with a strict syllable count.
I didn’t know where to put the title so I tagged it on the end
making it into a four-line poem.
I then repeated the previous three lines in reverse order to give
me a seven-line poem of two stanzas linked by a central TITLE.
Here’s an example:

Skating on the pond
If the ice cracks don’t go on
Hippopotamus
SKATING ON THE POND
Hippopotamus
If the ice cracks don’t go on
Skating on the pond

I liked the way this looked with its capitalised TITLE and where possible
I also coloured this in blue. If you look at the above example you’ll
notice that the title is the first and last line repeated.
The strict syllable count here is 5-7-5 plus of course 5 for the TITLE.
Giving a total count of 39 syllables. However, this was only the beginning…

Next I looked at different ways of building a NaiSaiKu..
the following example shows how you can use 41 syllables by making the
second and sixth lines read the same as the TITLE.
Here’s an example:

This is a sandwich
I am the meat and two veg
I'm a slice of bread
I AM THE MEAT AND TWO VEG
I'm a slice of bread
I am the meat and two veg
This is a sandwich

Now if the aim of NaiSaiKu.. was to keep to a strict syllable count and
to impose an immovable discipline, then the above form would be the one I would choose because it can be read in so many ways. It’s no longer just two stanzas
with a daft central TITLE it can now be read as three separate Haiku or Senryu
the first three lines, the middle three, and the last three. Phew!

So, if I could move the title from the first line to the second line and increase the
syllable count why couldn’t I use the third line as the TITLE and decrease
the syllable count again? Of course that’s exactly what I did next!
Here’s an example:

You tell them three times
Then they think that they told you
Who the hell yell you
WHO THE HELL YELL YOU
Who the hell yell you
Then they think that they told you
You tell them three times

I like the way this reads, it’s a good form if you really want to shout something out!

You may have noticed that the titles are colour coded.
I use blue for the first style red for the 41 syllable form and pink for the
central repetition of lines 3 and 5.
For a more modern approach I highlight the TITLE in green.

So far we’ve only looked at strict form or restricted poetry as some people may call it.
I set my work out in this way because I was comfortable with a strict 5 – 7 – 5 syllable old English Haiku style and I found it worked well for me.

Because NaiSaiKu.. is just a bit of fun!
I have made no attempt to enter into or emulate the spirit
of either traditional or modern Haiku of which there are
many excellent examples available on the World Wide Web.

Finally you can create your own NaiSaiKu..
in a modern style without any syllable restriction if you like,
or you can try a 3 – 5 – 3 or a 2 – 3 – 2 or a short – long – short or a
der – der – der or a singing – rhyming – chiming one
if the mood or your muse takes you there.
Here’s an example of the 2 – 3 – 2 syllable form:

Spring dawn
Cats come home
First light
SPRING DAWN
First light
Cats come home
Spring dawn

Or for a really neat look you could build it like this:

Spring dawn
Cats come home
FIRST LIGHT
Cats come home
Spring dawn

And a rhyming example:

Hippopotawot
Hippopotawotamus
Hippopotamus
HIPPOPOTAWOT
Hippopotamus
Hippopotawotamus
Hippopotawot

Or this way:

Hippopotamus
Hippopotawotamus
HIPPOPOTAWOT
Hippopotawotamus
Hippopotamus

Finally finally, you can of course convert an existing
Haiku into a NaisaiKu.. if you really want to.

Here's the trick - You take a well written modern Haiku like the 2-3-2 below:

Dry slopes
on the piste
wet snow

Then you add the TITLE:

Dry slopes
on the piste
wet snow
ON THE PISTE

Then you add the second stanza which is a reverse of the first,
and hey presto you have just built a NaiSaiKu..

Dry slopes
on the piste
wet snow
ON THE PISTE
wet snow
on the piste
dry slopes

But 'old on a mo', we ain't finished yet 'cos now we're gonna go full circle
and reveal the Emperor's new clothes:

Dry slopes on the piste
wet snow on the piste wet snow
on the piste dry slopes

Remember that if you use somebody else’s work
you will usually need their written permission before you can publish it or post it Online.

In conclusion, NaiSaiKu.. can rhyme or not rhyme, they can be built to a strict syllable
form or they can be free verse. I think that the only thing that actually sets them
apart or perhaps makes them unique is the fact that the TITLE is CAPITALISED
and is placed in the centre of the piece. Most of the examples we have looked at
have seven lines including the TITLE LINE but there's nothing to stop you
from experimenting with more lines or from adding puns and metaphor
or even from changing the order of the way the words go, like in this
example, from our Stan, at Elephant Small COST OF REVERSAL
which can be read back to front.

At the end of the day NaiSaiKu.. is Just a bit of fun!

Just When You Thought It Was Safe....

First of all I must apologise to all of you, for not posting anything for so long. However, now that I'm back, I'm going to post a couple of things. The first one, which I will post right now, should give you an idea of where I'm at.
I'M FIGHTING BACK
I've got a diagnostic army in my head
feels like soldiers made of plastic, tin and lead.
They are marching up and down to find my brain
and a chemical brigade invades my vein.
Ack-ack-ack, Ack-ack-attack! I'm fighting back!

Of course, when the diagnosis didn't work
they sent for the Neuro-Surgeon Doctor Burke.
Who wanted to drill a hole into my head
It's a simple operation, so he said.
Ack-ack-ack, Ack-ack-attack! I'm fighting back!

So I took my head to see another Quack
all he did was stick a needle in my back.
But hey, even if and when, they find my brain
I'll hide my mind, my soul, my memory lane.
Ack-ack-ack, Ack-ack- attack! I'm fighting back!

Next time they're going to scan me, front and back
but please, don't send me to that Quack 'Flat-tyre Jack!'
