Here's mines:
FROM AICHE TO OUCH
...water, water on the brain
will it won’t it, will it rain?
from aiche to ouch to h2o
I jump and kick + lunge
in-between the drips an' drops
the splish un splash of white
on black or ebony on ivory
the domino, that punches me...
Love the way you got the pub into this one ;-)
ReplyDeleteI LOVED the first two lines :)
ReplyDeleteA very lively poem! :)
Give me H2O anyday!
ReplyDeletex-y-z: all three axes
'the domino, that punches me'
ReplyDeleteWasn't looking for that last line. Love it.
This was so lyrical and rolled right off the tongue...lovely read!
ReplyDeleteHere's one I wrote for Mad Kane's 'Empty nest' prompt:
ReplyDeleteA woman was feeling depressed
she simply refused to get dressed
her husband forbade
but fell short of made
she ran down the street in her vest
Unfortunately her site wouldn't let me comment as it identified my computer as a spam server, whatever that is. Anyway!
Water, water, not a drop to... Good form - the appearance of the domino punch surprised and delighted me...
