The words this week are:
Drag, Mumble, and Penetrate.
Here's my offering:
SHE STINGS
She stings me like a bumble bee
makes me stumble makes me crumble.
Penetrate the fog I mumble
and the smog. But without her,
oh what a drag life would be...

Cute kind of love song!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of Shakespeare's Sonnet 130 where he lists all the things he doesn't like about his lover then ends with how much she means to him. Good job!

some people just drive us crazy but, our lives would be so lost without them in it, too. Lovely! :)
ReplyDeleteYou have to use those sting carefully if you're a bumble bee..maybe she's just teasing..stinging imagery..Jae
ReplyDeleteI wasn't satisfied with one love poem so a trawled through a few more of yours. I found them both sad and amusing with a good dose of truth. I suppose there is a little bit of us in everything we write even though we don't do it deliberately, however I can imagine how much fun it would be to have a chat with you down the pub.
ReplyDeleteGood to know you value her :)
ReplyDeleteGood job with that prompt!
