Three Word Wednesday CCLVI

Written for and posted to 3WW
The words this week are:
Drag, Mumble, and Penetrate.

Here's my offering:

SHE STINGS
She stings me like a bumble bee
makes me stumble makes me crumble.
Penetrate the fog I mumble
and the smog. But without her,
oh what a drag life would be...

  1. This reminds me of Shakespeare's Sonnet 130 where he lists all the things he doesn't like about his lover then ends with how much she means to him. Good job!

  5. I wasn't satisfied with one love poem so a trawled through a few more of yours. I found them both sad and amusing with a good dose of truth. I suppose there is a little bit of us in everything we write even though we don't do it deliberately, however I can imagine how much fun it would be to have a chat with you down the pub.
